Opinia de Journal is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality research articles in the fields of Islamic law and legal studies. The journal aims to provide a leading international forum for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate critical and innovative analyses of legal theory and practice within Islamic and global contexts.

The scope of the journal encompasses, but is not limited to, the following key areas:

* Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh) and its Principles (Uṣūl al-Fiqh): This includes doctrinal and methodological analyses of Islamic jurisprudence, its historical development, and its application to contemporary social, economic, and political issues.

* Islamic Law and Legal Theory: This area covers philosophical, historical, and sociological investigations into the formation and evolution of Islamic legal thought, including its interaction with other legal philosophies and traditions.

* Legal Systems and Comparative Law: We welcome studies focusing on the interaction, harmonization, and dialogue between the Islamic legal system and other legal systems, such as civil law, common law, and international law.

* Law and Technological Advancement: This section explores the ethical and juridical challenges posed by technological innovations—such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and financial technology (FinTech)—from an Islamic legal perspective.

All submissions must be original, unpublished works and should contribute significantly to the existing body of knowledge in the field.
